We design work products that work
For services that generate outputs, we take an audience-centric approach that stresses the role of design in creating client deliverables. This not only includes document look-and-feel but also flow and construction.
Too often, these elements are overlooked in the name of “good content.” But no matter how good the content, it can be misinterpreted or completely ignored if it’s hard to follow. We invest the time and leverage years of knowhow to make information accessible, useful, and valuable.
Form ever follows function
We apply the words of 19th-century architect Louis Sullivan to all aspects of our work. When he coined the phrase “form follows function,” he argued that nature dictates we design for purpose and context rather than mere precedent. “This is the law,” he wrote.
So, a document’s form should consider more than the industry status quo. It must adapt to its audience – their needs, objectives, and even unconscious preferences.
We incorporate basic user experience principles to do just that, conveying information in a more impactful way. It’s the difference between a final report and an always-within-reach, commonly-referenced asset. The difference between contract closed and value added.
Our attention to quality can not be overstated
Tenure with industry titans, personal work ethic, and dedication to client service inspire our quality standards. In fact, we’re obsessed with quality, taking great care to collect, synthesize, and present information. Whatever the output, we deliver with excellence in mind.
